NO Styrofoam Policy

No StyrofoamWe discourage the use of Styrofoam (which currently cannot be recycled in our region). We have zero Styrofoam products in our office, and we ask all lunch and learn vendors to bring lunches from companies who do not use Styrofoam. If styrofoam finds its way into our office, we find a way to recycle it.

Material Reuse and Recycle

Material Reuse at Neal Prince ArchitectsRather than throwing away unused interior finish samples, we recycle samples either by donating them to collegiate programs—such as Winthrop & Greenville Tech—or by sending samples back to the manufacturer, thanks to their pre-paid postage return labels.

Recycling

Recycling at Neal PrinceWe recycle!! We have a recycling service through Evergreen Recycling who recycles our paper, plastics, aluminum, and glass!

We also have a “Sustain” printer solely dedicated to reusing one-sided printed paper. If we have documents that have been previously printed on, we stock them back in our printer and print on the backside! After both sides have been used we recycle them! This reduces 50% of the paper we use!

We also reuse 1 sided printed paper to make handy-dandy notebooks for staff members! Recycling is stylish!

For every mile we cycle, we keep 3.6 lbs of automobile pollutants from entering the atmosphere!

Matt Tindall Achieves Professional License

Neal Prince Architects is proud to announce that Matt Tindall, AIA, has achieved his Architectural Professional License. Matt received his Master’s of Architecture from  Clemson University and has been working at NPA for the past three years.
At NPA, Matt serves in our Residential Architecture department. Perhaps his most significant project  to date, Matt just finished  with the Bishop Residence, a 10,000-sq. ft. home at The Reserve at Lake Keowee. “The site has a 300-degree view of the lake,” he says of the project. “You can enjoy a view of the water out of just about every window throughout the house.”
From everyone here at NPA, congrats, Matt!
